KENTUCKY SONGBIRD PHOTOGRAPHY IS TWO YEARS OLD • SPECIAL ANNIVERSARY SALE

February 27, 2019

On February 22nd, 2019, Kentucky Songbird Photography turned two years old.

Two years old!!!

I can understand why some might find it anticlimactic––in the grand scheme of things, two years is only a very brief moment of time.

And yes, Kentucky Songbird Photography is still really just starting out.

To me, though, two years symbolizes seven hundred and thirty days of totally relentless dedication to a passion, a dream, and an idea.

Seven hundred and thirty days of picking up a camera, and going for it.

I don’t think a lot of people realize how much energy, love, and creativity it takes to be a growing photographer.

It’s one thing to say you’re a “photographer,” to create social media pages displaying your work, and to start asking people to book with you.

But showing people that you’re worth that shot, that you have something special to offer to them, and that you truly love the art of photography…that’s something else entirely.

Each and every day, my mind is consumed with this. With photography, with this business, and with becoming the best I can be.

I wish I could explain the depth that goes into making something like this happen, but for now, I’ll just say thank you.

If you’ve been here since the very beginning…thank you. You’ve seen Kentucky Songbird Photography in all of its phases, and you still choose to invest your time into what it has become, and what it is becoming. To me, that’s a small miracle! Thank you so much. I want you to know that I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

If you’ve only recently joined the journey…thank you. Thank you for following along, for supporting my work, and for believing in where it’s going. I hope you know that I’m incredibly honored to have you here!

To those of you who took the time to tune into this blog post, I want to express a special thanks. Consider it a belated celebration of two full years in business!!!
