MORGAN + FAMILY • SPRING SESSION
Have I mentioned before how much I love working with families?
…and working with families I’ve already had the pleasure of working with before is even better!
I guess it comes as no surprise as to why I enjoyed my time with this bunch so much, then.
I’ve gotten to know Morgan, Josh, and Harlee really well over the last year, as I’ve documented several milestones in their lives. Since seeing them last, they’ve welcomed another little one into the world: Miss. Charlee!
It’s remarkable to see how much things have changed from our last session to this one…Morgan was only pregnant with Charlee at the time, and now, she’s here before our very eyes!!!
Charlee was not the only member of the family that I met for the first time at this shoot, though; I also got to meet Josh’s mom, Melissa (or, as they call her, “Nanny”)! I’m really happy that she decided to be a part of it.
When it comes to family sessions, I appreciate it when other close members (such as the grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts and uncles, etc.) see the value in being a part of the photographs.
I know how easy it can be to think in the moment, “There will always be another time.” In the past, I’ve found any excuse I could in order to avoid being in front of the camera…but, you can’t push this kind of thing off, though. These are moments you can’t get back. Even if you’re someone that’s not crazy about having their picture made, push yourself to do so anyway. You’ll thank yourself later (and your family will, too).
Here are my favorites from my time with Morgan, Josh, Harlee, Charlee, and Nanny!!!
Morgan, it’s a joy to witness your family’s growth, and to document these milestones in your lives. I love your little family, and I can’t wait to pick flowers with Harlee again sometime soon!!!
Until next time,
