Out of everything I shoot, newborns and children hold an incredibly special place in my heart. I adore their spontaneous, unexpected, genuine reactions, and interacting with them is one of the greatest joys I have as a photographer. You really never know what you're going to get...and that's where the magic is most often found. I have a general plan for each shoot, but I'm always intrigued to see how your little one will help shape the final outcome. I can guarantee it'll be unique from any before it.

I know you're excited, and I'm excited about your photos, too! That's why I work hard to keep turnaround times quick and efficient (while maintaining quality, of course).
Most of the year, gallery turnaround time is two weeks. During the spring and fall months, turnaround time gets closer to three weeks.
when will i get my photos back?
Booking is simple. After we've gotten in contact and confirmed a session date, I'll send a booking proposal to your email containing the contract that you'll e-sign, along with an invoice for the non-refundable retainer payment to secure your booking, which is 30% of the total collection price. If you've chosen the First Year Collection, you'll pay the first of five payment installments at booking, and if you chose the Deluxe First Year, you'll pay the first of seven payment installments at booking.
WHAT'S REQUIRED TO BOOK?
Honestly, not a thing! I have everything we could possibly need – swaddles, outfits, props, stuffed animals, headbands, hats...you name it. If there's something sentimental or specific you're really hoping to bring you're more than welcome to, but you definitely don't have to. I've got us covered!
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING FOR MY NEWBORN SESSION?
I'll be happy to supply the outfits for our other milestone sessions as well, but you may have something specifically you've bought or really want to use. If so, that's totally fine!
Just let me know what you're thinking and we'll plan our setups around the outfits. Besides that, once we get to the one year milestone session, you'll need to bring your smash cake. That's pretty much it!
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING FOR MY OTHER MILESTONE SESSIONS?
I recommend somewhere between 32-36 weeks, if possible. If your pregnancy is higher risk, if you're carrying multiples, or if you have a feeling you might go early, let's schedule closer to 32. If your pregnancy is on track to be full term and you have no reason to go early, we can get by with waiting a little longer and scheduling closer to 36 weeks!
HOW FAR ALONG SHOULD I BE FOR MY MATERNITY SESSION?
It really varies, especially depending on the willingness of your baby or child. For newborn, three month, and six month sessions, it's usually around 30+ edits, and for all other milestone sessions, it's around 50+. It really and truly depends on the nature of the session and how much patience your baby will have with me. :)
